An interactive learning session that presents research on self-efficacy, why some girls are less likely to feel they are good at STEM and the impact of this on learner pathways. The session will stimulate professional dialogue in order to support innovative thinking and future planning around building self-efficacy. The session will make use of this short stimulus video. The following 3 questions will be asked:

  1. What examples of this specific issue have you seen in your setting?
  2. What do you think the impact of this is on the children and young people you work with?
  3. How could you address this moving forward?
