This International Blether is designed for senior leaders and staff in schools with responsibility to develop and implement pedagogical approaches.

This Blether is with Jenni Donohoo PhD. Jenni is a three-time, best-selling author and professional learning facilitator with more than 20 years’ experience in leading school change. Jenni’s books include work on Collaborative Inquiry and her most recent book is Collective Efficacy: How Educators’ Beliefs Impact Student Learning.

They aim to provide a platform to stimulate thinking for senior school and pedagogical leaders and provide an opportunity for participants to question and share thoughts.


Educators and system leaders in Scotland are facing unprecedented leadership challenges as local authorities reopen schools during Phase 3 of the Government’s route map. School leaders are currently implementing a package of measures that must be put in place to reduce the risk of transmission of the COVID-19.

Whilst leaders continue to prioritise health and wellbeing, strong leaders will also be ensuring that their schools continue to deliver the highest quality of learning and teaching across their school.

In Education Scotland we are delighted to continue and enhance our offer of Big Blethers with a series of International Blethers to support professional learning and contribute to the development of thinking around how we seize opportunities in pedagogical developments in response to the recovery Planning taking place across our education system.
